Dua Lipa Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London, on 22 August 1995. After a stint as a model and actress, she signed with Warner Bros Records. She made her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album peaked at number three on the U.K. Albums Chart and recorded eight singles that included Be the One I.D.G.A.F and The U.K. number-one single New Rules which peaked at six in the United States. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards for British female solo artists and British breaking-through act in the year of 2018. The album was certified platinum worldwide. Dua Lipa, birthed to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on August 22, 1995. Through her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian descendance.
