Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered to be among the top gymnasts. Being a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast who won four gold medals in one Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles was also the first to hold three world titles consecutively. Biles grew up at Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time her and her sister Adria had been adopted by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was just 6. Her coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for an excursion. Biles received a silver medal in vault, and also a medal in floor during the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin competing in elite levels of competition. Within two years, she won the event. Biles made headlines for her constant performance her enthusiasm and level of difficulty that she included in each event--vault, uneven bars as well as balance beams and ground exercises.
