LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James was awarded two Olympic golds, as well as four NBA championships. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He also has the second-most career points and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was selected for the NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. As a total, James has been a part of the 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011-2018. James has been chosen for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has attained 10,000 points or more, rebounds, and assists during his professional career, in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he was raised. National media touted him as a potential NBA superstar. In 2003, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. The 2004 NBA Rookie of Year the player quickly became one of the league's premier players by winning an NBA MVP title in 2009 and 2010. James, who did not win the championship in Cleveland, in the year 2010, left as a free agent and joined in the Miami Heat. This was made clear by the book The Decision.
