Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born 28th October 1967 at Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. She comes from the fourth Roberts family that lived in Atlanta. This began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. She inherited her father's interest in the theatre at a young time. When he was a college pupil in Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he took part in several shows. He joined the Air Force in 1953 and, while being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the Air force. They got married in the year 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter began his studies in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for children called Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture that they funded themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which lasted six years. During this time they had two more children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
